propaganda work or making speeches shall be caused by the

owners, Captain or any other person.

(6) All the Company's steamers plying between the ports of

Hong Kong, Canton and lacao shall be manned by crews employed

through the Head Office of this Union at Canton, China, who

shall not be responsible for any persons employed through other

channels.

(7) The new crews at present employed by the Company shall be brought to the Head Office of this Union by the Company for the purpose of making a statement of repentance before the

Portrait of our late President, Dr. Sun, declaring that they

will never again disobey the rules of this Union.

(8) All losses sustained by fellow members by reason of their

recent dismissal by the Company shall be compensated in full

by the Company.

(8) The Company shall observe and carry out the terms of this Agreement and as regards our fellow members, they shall

see to it that they are given reasonable treatment and not to

be looked upon with any amount of contempt.

(10) The Company shall guarantee that no seamen sent on board

by this Union as a member of the crew or to act temporarily in

that capacity, shall be arrested or in other way be oppressed

by the Hong Kong Government at any time prior to the

restoration of the Seamen's Union in Hong Kong.
